Yoshihime-jinja Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Konan City, Shiga Prefecture

Summary

The shrine enshrines Konohanano sakuya bime, Uwakashitsuhime and Yoshihime Okami. The shrine is the counterpart of Yoshimiko-jinja Shrine, and at the reisai (regular festival) on May 1, portable shrines are carried around from both shrines. In the precincts of the shrine there is a spring whose water is said to cure all ills. In addition, it is said that the wooden komainu (shrine guardian dog statues) were made during the period of Northern and Southern Courts (Japan).

Get off at Ishibe Station of JR Kusatsu Line, then get on the City Loop Bus (Meguru-kun) and off at 'Furumiya,' and walk from there about five minutes.

From Ritto Interchange of Meishin Expressway, take National Route 1 and other routes. Two parking lots are available.
